You Wont Forgive

The Sun is gone now
And The flowers rot away
Along with the time

That I gave to us
And to our relationship
That didn’t last very long

And yet I still tried
To take back the bad things
That I said and did

But you won’t forgive
No matter what I may say
Though I forgave you

For every mistake
And lie that you said to my face
With no disregard

Of how much it hurt
To hear you lie through your teeth
And not even care
